The Schlafly Electronic Circuits Laboratory is a hands-on learning environment for Introduction to Electrical Engineering, Electronics I, and Electronics II. Through the generosity of Notre Dame Electrical Engineer Hub Schlafly and Leona Schlafly, an endowment for this laboratory was established in 2001 which ensures that EE undergrads will have state of the art facilities for learning.
Hub Schlafly's remarkable career
Dr. Seabaugh's research into nanoelectronics and high speed devices takes advantage of the Notre Dame Nano Fabrication facility to test ideas immediately. Dr. Seabaugh makes extensive use of undergrads in his research, giving them a great opportunity to get a head start in practical research.
"I am very excited about the undergraduate research program here at ND. The students make a real contribution to the cutting edge work of the department."
